Helen Ackerman
Helen is the Headteacher at Ludwick Nursery School. Trained initially as a Nursery Nurse, she was inspired by the teachers that she worked alongside and went on to gain QTS in 2004, becoming a Headteacher in 2013. Helen has worked in both primary and maintained nursery schools. Helen is passionate in supporting all early years colleagues to achieve their potential. Helen is the Area Lead for the DfE Covid Recovery Experts and Mentor’s Programme.
Lucy Parker
Lucy is Deputy Head teacher at Ludwick Nursery School. She has worked in Early Years for nearly 20 years, teaching in both primary and nursery schools. Lucy trained at Froebel College, and in 2018 completed her PhD. She is passionate about professional development and has been delivering training for a number of years and has also worked as a university lecturer. Lucy is supporting the delivery of the DfE Covid Recovery Experts and Mentor’s programme, working as an Expert.
