This training session will explore pedagogy, practice and provision for our youngest readers.
Participants will:
- Understand the rationale for the current focus on reading in the early years reading curriculum.
- Understand what high quality early reading looks like.
- Evaluate great reading provision across the curriculum.
Trainer: Helen Ackerman is the Head teacher at Ludwick Nursery School. Helen leads training in all areas of the early years and has particular expertise and passion for early reading.
Cost: £25 per person. Price includes school tour with a focus on reading in the learning environment.
